    Founded in 1999 by Mrs. Susie L\u00e9ger<\/span>,<\/b> a geologist by training, <\/span>Geostar inc.<\/b> first set up its offices in the former chapel at 207 Principal Street in Brownsburg-Chatham. The team, then made up of three employees, specialized in drinking water potability analysis for the surrounding municipalities and for residents of the region. A few years later, the company expanded its offering by adding soil testing services for septic installations for individual homeowners.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    In 2006, Mrs. L\u00e9ger, her son Mr. Ian M\u00e9nard and their associate Mrs. Guylaine Tardif founded Laboratoire Notreau<\/b>, marking the opening of the air quality analysis department at 216 Principal Street in Brownsburg-Chatham.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    In 2023, Mrs. L\u00e9ger and her son, Mr. Ian M\u00e9nard, founded GMT LAB<\/strong> and partnered with Mrs. Sarah Brodhead, Mrs. Liubov Zhuravleva and Mr. Beno\u00eet Charlebois to establish an independent laboratory specialized in geotechnics and materials testing. That same year, Geostar moved to 224 Principal Street in Brownsburg-Chatham, and GMT LAB set up its laboratory in the basement of the same building.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    The year 2025 marks a major turning point: Mrs. L\u00e9ger retires and her son, Mr. Ian M\u00e9nard, is elected president of the three companies. They are then brought together, giving rise to Groupe G\u00b2N inc<\/strong>. Mrs. Elyane Breton, who was already working at Geostar, is appointed general manager and joins the group as a partner.<\/p>

    Today, Groupe G\u00b2N Inc.<\/b> is a Quebec-wide reference for water, air and soil analysis. Bringing together Laboratoire Notreau, G\u00e9ostar<\/b> and GMT Lab<\/b> under one banner, the Group forms an integrated network of experts offering a comprehensive environmental approach focused on sustainability, compliance and the quality of service provided to its clients.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n
